Overview
The Las Vegas, NV office of Lewis Brisbois, a full-service AmLaw 100 firm, is actively seeking an attorney to join its Healthcare & Medical Malpractice Practice.
Responsibilities- Drafting and responding to discovery and initial pleadings
- Drafting and arguing motions
- Taking and defending depositions
- Managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Working independently and as part of a team
- Admitted to practice in Nevada
- At least two to fifteen years of experience representing healthcare providers in state and federal courts and administrative proceedings
- Experience defending and litigating medical malpractice lawsuits is preferred
- Strong writing and analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- While healthcare law experience is preferred, candidates with substantive litigation experience and an interest in healthcare law are encouraged to apply

The firm also handles medical malpractice actions in numerous areas, including obstetrics, emergency medicine, surgery, cardiology, general practice, pulmonary medicine, nursing, orthopedics, neurology, oncology, plastic surgery, ophthalmology, genetics testing, radiology, dentistry and podiatry.
