An established and expanding Las Vegas–based law firm is seeking an experienced Labor & Employment Associate to join its growing practice. This role offers the opportunity to take on a meaningful litigation workload with direct exposure to clients, opposing counsel, and key decision-makers.
The Role:
The successful candidate will play a significant role in employment litigation defense matters and will also have exposure to traditional labor law work. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney looking to deepen their litigation experience while working within a collaborative and well-supported team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Defend employers in employment-related litigation matters
- Handle all phases of litigation, including motion practice and discovery
- Advise clients and interact directly with opposing counsel
- Support traditional labor matters, including collective bargaining, grievance arbitration, representation petitions, and unfair labor practice charges
- Contribute to thought leadership through writing, publishing, and speaking opportunities
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Active Nevada bar admission and good standing required
- 3+ years of employment litigation defense experience
- Experience with traditional labor matters preferred
- Strong analytical, writing, and communication skills
