Job Description
We are hiring an Associate Attorney to support our growing criminal defense caseload. This role is ideal for motivated individuals eager to dive into high-volume litigation, from initial client intakes to courtroom advocacy. Whether you're a recent law school graduate or a seasoned practitioner, you'll have opportunities to build skills, take on meaningful responsibilities, and contribute to our firm's success.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a high-volume caseload of criminal defense matters, including DUIs, drug offenses, domestic violence, theft, and up to category A felonies.
- Conduct client consultations, case evaluations, and strategy development.
- Prepare and file motions, pleadings, and discovery requests.
- Represent clients in court appearances, hearings, negotiations, and trials.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure efficient case progression.
- Perform legal research and analysis on statutes, case law, and evidentiary issues.
- Maintain accurate case files and documentation in compliance with ethical standards.
- Participate in firm marketing and community outreach efforts as needed.
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active membership in good standing with the Nevada State Bar (or eligible for admission).
- Any level of experience welcome – from new bar admittees to experienced attorneys.
- Strong interest in criminal defense and a passion for advocating for clients' rights.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment.
- Proficiency in legal research tools (Lexis) and case management software.
- Bilingual skills (Spanish preferred) are a plus but not required.

Earn a salary ranging from $85,000 to $130,000, plus performance-based bonuses that recognize your hard work.
