Position Overview
The Windows Engineer will support a customer environment in Las Vegas, NV, focusing on expert-level Windows system configuration, deployment, troubleshooting, and integration. This role requires deep proficiency in Windows environments, Active Directory, hardware configuration, virtualization, and operational technology (OT) support.
Responsibilities- Configure, deploy, and manage Windows systems, including Active Directory and domain controllers.
- Integrate Windows systems with related software while ensuring robust antivirus protection.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in Cisco and Dell environments.
- Configure physical hardware including racking, cabling, and switch connectivity.
- Apply basic networking knowledge to support system and network configuration.
- Connect, configure, and manage storage solutions.
- Provision ESX hosts and templated virtual machines running Windows Server and Windows client OS.
- Extensive knowledge of Windows operating systems, configuration, and system deployment.
- Experience with hardware configuration, troubleshooting, and basic networking.
- Familiarity with VMware technologies including provisioning ESX hosts and virtual machines.
- Experience with Operational Technology (OT) environments (preferred but not required).
- Basic understanding of Cisco and Dell hardware ecosystems.
