Associate Data Center Technician; Level 1

We are looking for an Associate Data Center Technician (Level
1) to join our Las Vegas team. This role will be responsible for executing foundational data center operations with precision and reliability, supporting infrastructure availability while building technical proficiency across hardware, systems, and facilities disciplines.

After the successful completion of new hire training, the working hours/shift for this position is Monday through Friday from 12AM - 8AM Pacific time.

• Execute break/fix tickets, project cards, and decommission tasks following established DCT procedures and work instructions
• Perform rack installations following build guides including mounting equipment, cable routing, and proper labeling standards
• Conduct inventory audits and maintain accurate asset records in management systems
• Respond to on-shift incidents under supervision, performing basic troubleshooting and escalating appropriately

• Install base macOS following documented procedures
• Understand basic networking concepts: IP addressing, subnetting, gateway configuration, and connectivity testing
• Perform cable terminations using appropriate hand tools
• Verify physical layer connectivity and document installation work

• Follow all safety protocols and site-specific procedures
• Work with senior technicians for quality control reviews
• Maintain organized work areas and proper tool management
• Participate in team training and knowledge-sharing sessions

• Must be able to safely use a ladder
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time
• Require the use of hands to fingers
• Frequent sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing
• Must be able to distinguish different colors
• Require use of tools such as screwdrivers

• 0-2 years in data center, IT infrastructure, or related technical field
• Basic understanding of server hardware, networking
