The Supervisor/SAP/Technical provides high-level technical support and direction for the SAP technology stack, including SAP S/4 HANA, C4C, and BW/4
HANA as they relate to business processes and infrastructure development. This position is responsible for the full lifecycle of business and infrastructure change programs for all SAP system landscapes, which includes gathering requirements, technical research, backend and frontend development, quality assurance, deployment, maintenance, and support for all components of the SAP system landscape as well as integration with non-SAP applications. This position guides the implementation of SAP products through effective utilization of internal and external IT resources and leads ad-hoc work teams comprised of subject matter experts, developers and other business team members at various levels in the organization to ensure deliverables and business requirements are met through defined best programming standards and conventions and support the Company s short and long-term strategic roadmap.
The Supervisor/SAP/Technical evaluates the design and effectiveness of technology controls throughout the business cycle to identify challenges and provides guidance on maintenance, enhancement and/or development work of SAP modules and those that interface with other applications to Project Leadership. Supervises and provides performance management to the development team as well as works in close collaboration with business partners, internal and external development teams, and other IT staff to translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications according to the specifications of the business need.
This position actively participates in the development of technical and workflow solutions, analysis of SAP application solutions options, creation of appropriate related documents, and the delivery of final solutions to the business utilizing reports, presentations, and/or visual aids. Utilizes information systems to improve efficiency and make recommendations on new system implementation or necessary upgrades that will best meet customer and Company requirements.
POSITION DIMENSIONS
The incumbent is not accountable for budgets. Up to seven exempt employees report directly to this position. The incumbent frequently exchanges information with senior management, division management, Information Services support staff, vendors, and consultants.
QUALIFICATIONS
There are clear precedents and practices which the incumbent uses to determine how this job is performed. This position requires a minimum of 6 years of SAP Functional or ABAP experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential job responsibilities.
The following qualifications are also required: SAP functional module experience, including the ability to configure the specific SAP modules listed in this job description or Strong ABAP hands-on development skills in SAP ERP, CRM, S4
HANA, C4C with strong analytical and technical skills
Expert programming experience in the following technical areas:
Reporting (conventional and interactive), Object Oriented ABAP, User exits, Business Add-Ins and Enhancement spots, Interface development, BAPI, Module Pool (on-line dialog), SAP Script and Smart-Forms, ISU-Print workbench
Understanding of FICA, SAP-ISU modules of ERP/S4
HANA and SAP CRM/C4C
Exhibit strong functional knowledge and the ability to develop the specific SAP products listed in this posting
Knowledge of SOAP, IDOC, FILE, SFTP, PGP, JDBC adapter communication
Experience in ABAP Web Dynpro, ALE IDOCs, SAP Business Workflow, Adobe Forms, ABAP Proxies, EDI, Data migration
Experience supporting large and complex productive SAP environments
Experience in SAP ISU, Bill Print Technical
Systems Testing and IT implementation experience
Project Management experience
Utilities experience
Excellent analytical skills and a sense of urgency
Experience working with cross-functional teams
Experience with process mapping
Organized with the ability to work in a dynamic, rapidly changing environment and the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects at once
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Experience with and passion for implementing change and continual improvement
Demonstrated fluency in business processes and process differentiation
Ability to analyze and synthesize business requirements, including recognizing patterns and conceptualizing processes
Supervisory experience, SAP certification, and/or a bachelor s degree in Information Technology, Business, or Computer Science from an accredited university are preferred.
Experience with C/4 HANA, IS-U, or Meter-to-Cash is preferred. Knowledge of S4
HANA and C4C development is preferred. Hands-on expertise in Idoc, BOPF, UI5, Fiori, and ABAP CDS is preferred.
