Summary
HII Mission Technologies is seeking a Simulator Technician - Integration & Maintenance to support the Joint Simulation Environment (JSE) at the Joint Integrated Test and Training Center - Nellis (JITTC‑N), located at Nellis AFB, NV. This role is part of a team providing on‑site modeling & simulation (M&S) support to the U.S. Air Force Warfare Center (USAFWC) and Air Combat Command (ACC).
You will help deliver advanced tactics, training, and test capabilities; support JITTC‑N test and training events; and assist in expanding distributed JSE training across additional Service and Joint partner facilities. #LI-MJ1
Impact
Your work ensures the readiness, reliability, and performance of advanced simulator systems supporting mission rehearsal, operational training, and high‑end test activities. You will help maintain system availability, contribute to system integration efforts, and support operators, maintainers, and mission teams across a multi‑domain simulation environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform operations and maintenance on all JITTC‑N simulation systems to ensure reliability, availability, and maintainability.
* Troubleshoot simulator systems to ensure full operational capability and customer support readiness.
* Support technical planning for system integration, software loads, and equipment updates.
* Conduct failure analysis based on logged system data.
* Track spares usage; coordinate with logistics to maintain needed inventory levels.
* Verify technical data and create technical documentation in support of system integration and updates.
* Assist with integration and testing of new or updated systems, components, or configurations.
What you will do
Education & Experience
* 5 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree in a related field, or
* 3 years of relevant experience with a Master's degree in a related field, or
* 0 years with a PhD/JD in a related field, or
* High school diploma/equivalent and 5 years of relevant experience.
