End User Support Technician

Overview

Link Technologies (), a Las Vegas-based IT consulting firm, is currently looking for an End User Support Technician to join our team.

• Provide on-site technical support to end users, troubleshooting software and hardware issues face-to-face, in addition to phone and email support.
• Respond to and resolve IT service desk tickets within established time frames.
• Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, scanners, and other end-user devices.
• Work in a fast-paced, high-traffic environment with a focus on delivering timely and effective technical support.
• Collaborate as part of a team or work independently as needed.

• 21 years of age or older
• Must be able to work all shifts, including night shifts (REQUIRED)
• Ability to obtain and maintain any licensing or active work cards (REQUIRED)
• Ability to lift 40 lbs. (REQUIRED)
• Reliable transportation (REQUIRED)
• Provide on-site support with strong customer service and communication skills, in person in a busy environment
• Basic understanding of Apple products and software is highly desired
• Experience with common business software and hardware (e.g., Microsoft Office 2003, 2007, 2010; Adobe Acrobat; Symantec Antivirus; Internet Explorer; Active Directory)
• Capable of walking distances and moving throughout the facility to address issues in various areas
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• CompTIA A+ certification (preferred)
