The
** Security Engineer II
** is responsible for responding, monitoring, and investigating security incidents.
** Responsibilities:
*** Research, test and implement new security solutions to address future and current threats.
* Provide support to operational, development and deployment teams and investigate potential security violations.
* Develops, maintains, and supports processes to support the IT Security Framework such as incident management and risk management.
* Perform vulnerability scanning, prioritize risk of vulnerabilities and track remediation performed internally and externally.
* Respond to and investigate security incidents.
* Provide incident reports as part of the incident process.
* Identifies and investigates actual or potential information security violations.
* Performs follow up investigations with written reports.
** Requirements:
*** High School Diploma or GED required
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Security, and/or related field preferred
* Minimum of five (5) years of experience in IT Security
* Minimum of three (3) years of experience in Cloud Technologies
* Experience in vulnerability management and penetration testing
* Experience in managing SIEM solutions and analyze log streams
* Experience in endpoint security solutions
* Experience in Security incident management and reporting
* CISSP Certification is preferred
* Excellent verbal and written communication, planning, analysis and organizing skills
* Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
* May occasionally be required to work evenings and/or weekends.

Compensation The anticipated pay range/scale for this position is $91,597.00 to $ Annually. Actual starting base pay within this range will depend on factors including geographic location, education, training, skills, and relevant experience.

Additional Compensation This position is eligible to receive a discretionary annual bonus.

The Company provides 9 paid holidays per year, and, upon hire, new employees will accrue paid time off (PTO) at a rate of 0.0577 hours of PTO per hour worked, up to a maximum of 120 hours per year.
