Administrator, Configuration Management

Own patching and vulnerability mitigation across server and endpoint environments

Configure, maintain, and automate system baselines for Switch-managed assets

Monitor configuration compliance and remediate drift or control gaps

Troubleshoot complex issues in automation, patching, and configuration tools

Document procedures, access controls, and operational standards

Triage work requests, meet due dates, and provide clear status updates

Train and support Help Desk staff to reduce repeat escalations

Participate in an on-call rotation for escalated incidents

Works independently on complex systems with limited oversight

Uses sound judgment to prioritize risk, stability, and service continuity

Communicates clearly and directly with technical and non-technical partners

Follows through on commitments and keeps stakeholders informed

Contributes solutions, not just problem statements

Supports team reliability through knowledge sharing and mentoring

Required

• 5+ years experience with SCCM / MECM administration and deployment automation

Hands-on experience administering Windows and Linux server environments

Experience with Active Directory and Azure AD

Experience with patching, vulnerability management, and system hardening

Experience automating repeatable operational tasks

Familiarity with configuration management and package management tools

Experience working within ticketing systems and basic ITIL practices

Preferred

Experience with Microsoft 365, Intune, Teams, and SharePoint Online

Experience with endpoint management across Windows, macOS, and Linux

Experience with monitoring and alerting platforms

Experience supporting compliance or security control programs

• Certifications such as CompTIA, Microsoft, Red Hat, or ITIL are helpful but not required.
