SaaS Engineer

Aristocrat is seeking a SaaS engineer to join the Productivity & Collaboration Team within Aristocrat Labs. The right candidate should possess in-depth experience supporting SaaS applications focused on efficiency such as Jira, Confluence, Testrail and Slack. The ideal candidate will have experience growing and working in a fast-paced, customer focused environment. This role will partner with and support domain experts and team members throughout Aristocrat Labs, and IT globally.

The SaaS engineer is crucial in leading and supporting the organization's SaaS applications. This position encompasses a diverse array of responsibilities, deployment, administration, security, and optimization and improvements of SaaS solutions. We seek a highly organized, diligent individual with deep technical skills and a genuine passion for enhancing business efficiency through technology.

• Atlassian Deployment and Configuration

  • Set up and coordinate user accounts, permissions, and access levels.
  • Coordinate the configuration and management of integrations between various cloud-based software solutions.

• Atlassian Security and Compliance:

  • Safeguard the security and privacy of sensitive data within SaaS applications.
  • Identify and mitigate potential security risks associated with SaaS usage.

• Atlassian Usage and Optimization:

  • Provide training and support to end-users in the proficient operation of SaaS applications.
  • Monitor SaaS usage patterns to pinpoint areas for improvement and cost optimization.
  • Identify and eliminate redundant subscriptions while optimizing usage to reduce costs.

• Atlassian Administration:

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Atlassian application usage.
  • Maintain and update SaaS application configurations as needed.
  • Stay informed about the latest trends and best practices in SaaS management.
  • Work with users to migrate to new solutions and implement new features.

• Slack Administration

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Slack application usage.
  • Maintain and update SaaS application configurations as needed.
  • Remain aware of recent innovations and proven strategies in SaaS management.
  • Collaborate with users to transition to new solutions and roll out new features.

• SaaS Deployment and Configuration

  • Configure and manage user profiles, authorizations, and access privileges.
  • Lead the configuration and coordination of integrations connecting different SaaS applications.
  • Management, standardization and rollout of new SaaS applications.

• SaaS Security and Compliance

  • Protect the confidentiality and integrity of sensitive data in SaaS applications.
  • Detect and address possible security threats related to SaaS usage.

• SaaS Usage and Optimization

  • Deliver training and assistance to end-users on effectively using SaaS applications.
  • Track SaaS usage trends to find opportunities for improvement and cost savings.
  • Detect and remove overlapping subscriptions while improving usage efficiency to lower expenses.

• SaaS Administration

  • Diagnose and resolve issues related to SaaS application usage.
  • Regularly review and modify SaaS application settings as required.
  • Stay updated on the newest developments and leading approaches in SaaS management.
  • Collaborate with users to transition to new solutions and introduce new features.

• 5 years of experience in SaaS engineering or a related IT role supporting Productivity and Collaboration tools.
• Solid understanding of cloud computing concepts and technologies.
• Experience with various SaaS applications (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Testrail, Unity and Slack).
• Superb communication, interpersonal, and problem‑solving skills.
• Strong analytical and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to prioritize and run multiple tasks effectively.
