Information Security Officer​/IT Coordinator

Requirements Must Have

• Bachelors degree with a focus on information security or a related field from an accredited institution and two years of experience in information security and technology, or an equivalent mix of education, training, and experience.
• Preferred banking experience.
• Comprehensive understanding of laws and regulations concerning information security.
• In-depth knowledge of policies, procedures, and programs relevant to information security.
• Strong grasp of information technology systems and cybersecurity threats.
• Tech-savvy, knowledgeable about current and emerging technologies, and their potential impact on workplace performance.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with the capacity to convey urgency effectively to prompt appropriate actions from others.
• Outstanding organizational abilities, including a system for tracking tasks to ensure timely follow-through.
• Exceptional customer service skills, with a strong commitment to addressing issues and fulfilling the needs of colleagues and the bank, maintaining a respectful and professional demeanor.
• Proficient in addressing complex problems that involve various factors in non-standard situations related to information security and technology.
• Capacity to exercise sound business judgment and maintain strict confidentiality regarding customer information and bank operations.
• Proficient with core applications and internet access.
• Basic mathematical and accounting skills.

• Develop and enforce information security and IT-related policies and programs.
• Coordinate information security and IT initiatives, including project management, risk assessments, and user support.
• Lead the IT Steering Committee, ensuring effective evaluation of new products and services.
• Co-chair the Vendor Management Committee, overseeing third-party vendor evaluations and relationships.
• Monitor compliance with guidelines from regulatory agencies regarding information security standards.
• Update and implement policies and procedures related to cybersecurity and business continuity.
• Resolve high-priority systems issues, including network, core applications, and VoIP.
• Facilitate the delivery, setup, and configuration of end-user technology, including hardware and software.
• Provide comprehensive support to end users for a variety of IT-related issues.
• Authorize and track IT support tickets to ensure timely resolution and escalation when necessary.
• Oversee IT and information security projects, encompassing system upgrades and equipment refreshes.
• Manage the Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery program, including training and testing.
• Lead the Incident Response Team, serving as the key liaison for incident resolution.
• Conduct risk assessments and compile reports on cybersecurity and information security status for executive management.
• Provide staff training on information security and incident response protocols.
• Coordinate responses to auditors and regulatory examiners regarding IT and information security matters.
