AWS Cloud Engineer

Qualifications

• Strong experience with core AWS services: VPC, EC2, S3, IAM, Route 53, Backups, EKS, SSO, MSK, Security Hub, Guard Duty, and related security/compliance tooling.
• Advanced networking knowledge, including hands‑on experience with AWS Transit Gateway (TGW) and Direct Connect — setup, troubleshooting, and hybrid connectivity.
• Observability & Monitoring:
  Experience with Amazon Cloud Watch, Grafana, Open Telemetry (OTEL), and proactive alerting and telemetry configuration.
• Infrastructure as Code & Automation:
  Proficient in Terraform, Git Lab CI/CD, and Shell scripting for end‑to‑end automation.
• Container Orchestration:
  Solid understanding of Kubernetes (EKS) and Istio service mesh for traffic management, security, and observability.
• Security & Patching:
  Experienced in patching and vulnerability remediation in cloud‑native and containerized environments, aligned with best practices and compliance.
• Programming & Scripting:
  Hands‑on Python or Bash development experience for scripting, automation, and infrastructure tooling.
• Problem‑solving mindset with the ability to work efficiently in fast‑paced, Agile/Scrum environments and collaborate across cross‑functional teams.
