EY’s Oracle Services practice assists our national consulting practices in planning, pursuing, delivering, and managing large, complex full‑lifecycle application implementations, providing experience in leading practices, methods, and resources in the Oracle applications and technology space. Oracle Applications and Technology Services within the COE supports area offices by providing resources that can design, architect, deliver, and lead innovative solutions leveraging technical capabilities of Oracle SaaS and PaaS applications.
This group advises clients to understand, architect, and implement the core applications and technology required to run their business.
As a Manager in Application Systems Engineering, you will define user and customer requirements, focusing on user interface development across diverse platforms. You’ll play a pivotal role in engineering software components and services that ensure seamless communication within the system architecture.
YourKey Responsibilities
- Ensure billability through chargeable work on external clients.
- Lead workstream delivery with strategic oversight.
- Manage project status and oversee deliverable completion.
- Travel as required by client engagements.
- Actively participate in client sessions and lead work streams from planning to execution.
- Identify additional service opportunities to drive sales.
- Lead specific RFP responses and manage engagement economics.
- Execute resource planning within budget constraints.
- Lead client‑technology teams or third‑party strategic alliances to implement technology solutions.
- Demonstrate quality project execution, monitoring economics, performance, and adjusting scope, timing, and resources as needed.
- Architect technology solutions focusing on data flow, migration, and integration to execute supply‑chain related processes across multi‑vendor landscapes.
- Develop people by encouraging independent thinking, delegating work, conducting performance reviews, and providing feedback and training.
- Generate new business opportunities by thoroughly understanding EY and its service lines and presenting ways to apply knowledge and services.
- Develop long‑term relationships and networks internally and externally.
- Manage and supervise a team of technology professionals through all phases of the technology lifecycle.
- Communicate effectively with supply‑chain and technology senior and middle‑management executives.
- Apply Agile development methodologies.
- Integrate application solutions and ensure quality assurance.
- Show proficiency in software development and technology business‑requirements analysis.
- Exhibit strong relationship‑management and negotiation skills.
- Demonstrate digital fluency and emotional agility.
- A 4‑year bachelor’s degree and 4–6 years of relevant experience.
- 4–6 years of experience in SCM/ERP application implementations as a Technical Lead, Application Development Lead, or Enterprise Application Integration lead, and at least 2 years in a managerial and IT/business integration role.
- 2–3 full‑cycle implementations of Oracle SCM Cloud and 3–4 Oracle EBS implementations focusing on Order Management, Pricing, Inventory, Product Information Management, Procurement, and Manufacturing modules.
- 2–3 years of hands‑on experience with FBDI, OTBI, REST, and SOAP.
- Demonstrated use of integration tools such as Oracle Integration Cloud, Mule Soft, Dell Boomi, or other leading platforms to architect, design, and build integrations with Oracle Cloud Applications.
