Our client is currently seeking a Data Governance Analyst-HYBRID. All candidates must CURRENTLY be living in the Metro-Las Vegas area.

• Develop and implement data governance policies and procedures.
• Monitor data quality and identify improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with data owners and stewards to uphold data standards.
• Create and maintain data dictionaries and metadata repositories.
• Support compliance with regulations such as GDPR, CCPA and resolve data-related issues.
• Respond to requests for assistance related to internally developed SQL processes.
• Troubleshoot data-related questions by reviewing SQL procedures and identifying optimizations or advising processes from internal app development.
• Collect and document requirements on data development initiatives from business stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Business Intelligence and Data Engineering teams to write SQL queries for ad-hoc inquiries or integration into stored procedures.
• Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
• Utilize version control tools to maintain a structured and organized workflow; collaborate with the development team and follow best practices for documentation, testing, and deployment.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience in a related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a Data Governance Analyst with SQL programming, database systems, and data analysis.
• Experience working in SOX and PCI/PII environments.
• Highly organized with excellent communication, analytical, and collaboration skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Word and Excel.
• Experience with Databricks, AWS S3, and Azure preferred.
• Strong T‑SQL programming skills preferred.
