IT Programmer

The client is seeking technical and operational support for Fire Department functions within the Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) system. This role supports daily CAD operations, reporting, system configuration, and vendor coordination for integrated public safety applications.

• Support day-to-day CAD operations using Central Square and Priority Dispatch systems
• Develop and maintain reports using MS SQL Server, Power BI, and Crystal Reports
• Monitor system health, troubleshoot issues, and support system upgrades
• Build and maintain CAD units, stations, response plans, protocols, and user accounts
• Produce monthly CAD exports, Auto Aid reports, and ad hoc reports for internal and external agencies
• Coordinate system upgrades with vendors and communicate issues promptly

• Candidate Must Meet All Minimum Qualifications
• Expert level/Minimum five (5) years’ experience in: CAD Administrator with knowledge of Central Square software;
  Power BI, Crystal Reports report writing
• Advance level/Minimum one (1) year’ experience in:
  Documentation of technical requirements in project tracking system;
  Building and executing test plans for software modifications
• Minimum one (1) year’ experience in:
  Documentation of technical requirements in project tracking system;
  Building and executing test plans for software modifications

• Experience with CAD systems and public safety applications
• Proficiency in SQL Server, Power BI, and Crystal Reports
• Strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of operating systems and networking fundamentals
