Akkodis Solution Architect (Contract)

Akkodis is seeking a Solution Architect for a Contract with a client in Las Vegas, NV. You will design and deliver enterprise-level solution architecture, including high-level design docs and microservice-based APIs, while guiding implementation teams through agile delivery.

Rate Range: $53/hour to $54/hour;
The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

• Develop and maintain solution architecture and high-level design documents, ensuring alignment with business and technical requirements.
• Design microservices architecture and REST-based APIs and oversee API integration across systems.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineering teams, and stakeholders to shape product roadmaps and ensure successful delivery.
• Lead implementation teams, translating business requirements into technical specifications and guiding agile development processes.
• Conduct proof‑of‑concept (POC) evaluations for new technologies and recommend adoption strategies.
• Promote reuse and standardization through inner‑sourcing opportunities and enforce architecture governance and lifecycle standards.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 8+ years of experience in solution architecture and software design.
• Expertise in designing microservices architecture and REST-based APIs with strong knowledge of major architecture patterns.
• Proven experience with AWS services, containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, Open Shift), and Java frameworks (Spring, Spring Boot).

Pay Details: $53.00 to $54.00 per hour
