Position: Part - Time Instructor, Cybersecurity - FY 2026
* Lecture and Lab instruction for Information Technology Courses. Course assignments may be multi-campus with the possibility of day, evening and/or weekend classes. Courses may be delivered online, or be delivered as a hybrid, online and in person.
* Develop Lesson Plans, and course materials in conjunction with Program Director Evaluate student mastery of skills and competencies required by course outcomes.
* Provide an excellent teaching experience as well as student advisement, recruitment activities and program/curriculum development.
* Bachelor’s degree from an accredited College/University (technical, business or other 4-year degree that might be appropriate) in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
* Teaching experience at the College ,University , or at a workplace
* At least 2 years of practical experience working in cybersecurity roles such as security analyst, network security engineer, or penetration tester.
* Experience with areas such as threat analysis, incident response, ethical hacking, network security, risk management, or security operations.
* Familiarity with industry tools (e.g., Wireshark, Nmap, Kali Linux, SIEM platforms, etc.) and the latest cybersecurity trends and technologies.
* Master’s or terminal/doctorate degree in computer science, cybersecurity, or related field.
* Experience with any Learning Management System (e.g. Canvas, Blackboard, etc.)
* Familiarity with Mac, Windows, and Linux
* CompTIA Security+ or similar foundational certifications.
* Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
* Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH).
* Certified Information Security Manager (CISM).
* Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP).
* Certified Network Defender (CND).
