Compensation: $13.00/hour

Overview

The Club Floor Attendant is responsible for providing the highest quality service possible to guests while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation throughout the hours of operation. The attendant sets up and maintains the breakfast buffet, ensuring all tables are kept clean and presentable at all times.

Responsibilities
  • Employees must be attentive, friendly, helpful, and courteous to guests, managers, and colleagues.
  • Keep all work areas clean and properly stocked according to the current meal period.
  • Keep all tables cleaned and properly set according to property specific standards.
  • Set up and break down the breakfast buffet area according to established standards.
  • Proactively pre-buss tables, and promptly resolve any guest requests.
  • Complete daily opening and closing duties and cleaning according to the established side‑work checklist.
  • Assist fellow employees as needed throughout the shift.
  • Ensure overall guest satisfaction.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent, and/or experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
  • Flexible and willing to work long and sometimes irregular hours.
  • Heavy work: able to exert up to 100 pounds occasionally, 50 pounds frequently, or 20 pounds constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
  • Ability to stand during the entire shift.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, friendly and courteous to all levels of employees and guests.
  • Effective listening, understanding, and clarifying concerns raised by employees and guests.
  • Multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines.
  • Approach all encounters with guests and employees in an attentive, friendly, courteous, and service‑oriented manner.
  • Attend all hotel‑required meetings and trainings.
  • Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Highgate Hotel Standards and scheduling.
  • Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, including proper uniform and nametag.
  • Comply with Highgate Hotel Standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations.
  • Maximize efforts toward productivity, identify problem areas and assist in implementing solutions.
  • Handle problems effectively, including anticipating, preventing, identifying, and solving problems as needed.
  • Understand and apply complex information, data, etc. from various sources to meet objectives.
  • Cross‑train in other hotel‑related areas.
  • Maintain confidentiality of information.
  • Show initiative, including anticipating guest or operational needs.
  • Perform other duties as requested by management.
  • Maintain a friendly and warm demeanor at all times.
Salary Range

$13.00/hour
