THE JOB:
As a Casino Porter at Park MGM, you'll play a key role in creating a welcoming, energetic, and polished environment for both guests and team members. With every shift, you'll help set the stage for unforgettable experiences by keeping the casino and public areas spotless, safe, and inviting. More than just maintaining cleanliness, you'll deliver friendly service and contribute to the vibrant atmosphere that makes Park MGM a place guests love to return to.
THE STARTING RATE: $21.6134 hourly
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
* Sweep, vacuum, and remove debris, scuff marks, and spills from floors, chairs, and assigned areas, including biohazard cleanup.
* Clean and dust slot machines, slot chairs, woodwork, ashtrays, and trash receptacles; return equipment and furniture to proper positions.
* Replenish supplies and ensure all equipment is accounted for; report malfunctioning items.
* Provide excellent guest service, addressing challenges promptly and creatively.
* Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment throughout assigned casino and public areas.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
* Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays required
* Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal forms required
* Six (6) months of previous experience as a porter or in a comparable cleaning/janitorial position within a casino or public areas preferred
