THE JOB:

As the Assistant Manager of F&B Pool Operations at Mandalay Bay, you will support the daily operations of one of Las Vegas' most iconic resort pool experiences, where food, beverage, and hospitality come together in a vibrant, high-energy setting. In this role, you will help set the tone for an exceptional guest experience through your welcoming presence, attentive service, and hands-on leadership.

By understanding each guest's unique story and needs, you will truly own their experience-creating WOW memories they carry with them long after their visit-while supporting operational excellence, team engagement, and seamless service throughout the pool environment.

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

* Review daily schedules and manage time off and vacation requests; coach and train on policies, procedures, and performance

* Supervise cashiers to ensure correct policies and procedures for check handling and closing are maintained by service staff as well as manage activities; means of access and egress, to ensure complete compliance with Health Department and Fire Marshall Regulations

* Directly communicate with the Chef on all food service and menu issues

* Assist in seasonal menu changes and holiday menu changes

* Order supplies through the IP System and Purchasing

* Exercise cost controls for all aspects of restaurant operation

* Manage pricing and maintenance issues to ensure checks can be processed correctly

* Direct communication with guests for special requests and large party reservations

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

* High School Diploma or GED required

* Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays required

* Must be 21 years of age or older

* 2+ Years of prior relevant service experience in a similar dining environment required

* Previous experience as a Manager in F&B operations or a similar environment preferred

* Experience managing employees using a Collective Bargaining Agreement preferred
