Overview
ABOUT VALLEY HEALTH PHYSICIAN ALLIANCE. Las Vegas is known internationally as a major resort city with a robust healthcare system supporting local communities. This role supports daily operations management and supervision of assigned practice(s) in accordance with federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations.
Position Summary- The Practice Manager is responsible for regulatory compliance, maintenance of licenses/certifications, primary source verification, proper credentialing with health system medical staff offices and payers. Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders (CBO, marketing, quality team, business development, finance, A/P, payroll, human resources, c-suite, facilities, corporate and local administration) to ensure effective and efficient practice operations.
- The Practice Manager will be the primary liaison to internal and external stakeholders. Manages departmental expenses cost effectively, monitors revenue cycle operations, volume, and revenue generation to ensure practice budgets are met and provider subsidies are minimized.
- Participates in annual operating and capital budgeting and provider and employee recruitment and onboarding.
- Demonstrates service excellence, conveys professionalism, and maintains appropriate confidentiality.
- Other duties as assigned.

QualificationsEducation
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- In lieu of degree, 5-7 years healthcare experience with at least two (2) years in a supervisory capacity.
- CMPE certification preferred
Work Experience
- 3-5 years supervisory experience, preferably in a healthcare environment.
