Position: PRACTICE MANAGER

Responsibilities

The Practice Manager is responsible for daily operations management and supervision of assigned practice(s) in accordance with federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations.

Position Summary
  • Maintain regulatory compliance, licensing/certifications, primary source validation, and proper credentialing with the health system medical staff office and payers.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders (CBO, marketing, quality team, business development, finance, A/P, payroll, human resources, c‑suite, facilities, corporate and local administration) to ensure effective and efficient practice operations.
  • as the primary practice liaison to stakeholders.
  • Manage departmental expenses cost‑effectively, monitor revenue cycle operations, volume, and revenue generation so that practice budgets are met and provider subsidies are kept to a minimum.
  • Participate in annual operating and capital budgeting and in provider and employee recruitment and onboarding.
  • Demonstrate service excellence, convey professionalism, and maintain confidentiality.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree required. In lieu of a degree, 5–7 years of healthcare experience with at least two (2) years in a supervisory capacity. CMPE certification preferred.
  • Work Experience: 3–5 years of supervisory experience, preferably in a healthcare environment.
  • Required knowledge, skills, licensure, training, and travel requirements (no specific details provided).
