Position Overview
Savoy Life is seeking a Director of Clinical Operations to support a brand-new role that will further build out the RN role within Savoy. This position manages RN care coordinators and builds on the existing foundation to expand the clinical workforce. The role requires an active RN license.
Location: Anywhere near a major airport in the US & west of Chicago
Reports to: COO
Work Schedule: Full-time
Key Responsibilities- RN Manager
- Manage a growing team of RN care coordinators
- Hire, onboard, train/shadow, and complete competency checks for new hires
- Provide clinical expertise and act as a resource for on-site staff to support high-quality resident care
- Identify improvement opportunities through team feedback, direct and indirect observation, and build the structure and training to execute on those changes
- Clinical Operations Support
- Support everything from frontline clinical workflows to behind-the-scenes operational execution
- Assist day-to-day operations for the Savoy care team to ensure the team is supported, resident needs are met, and customers are happy
- Build processes for non-RN roles, provide input on new technology builds, create training materials, and maintain a clean shared file
- Design, implement, and refine clinical workflows, protocols, and standard operating procedures
- Support operational scaling efforts through documentation, training staff, and adapting workflows as programs evolve
- Help maintain clinical compliance with state, federal, and accreditation requirements through audits, documentation, and process oversight
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Strong background in geriatric/senior care with depth of experience in care coordination with complex patients
- Experience managing nurses & passion for leading a team
- Experience working in or with senior living communities
- Passionate and motivated by Savoy’s mission and vision
- Demonstrates a strong “yes-and” mindset—prioritizing outcomes over personal task preferences
- Strong ability to create structure from scratch and improve existing structure
- Strong leadership skills focused on building relationships, supporting a positive culture, and ensuring outcomes are met
- Proficiency in learning and leveraging an array of technologies
- Detail-oriented with ability to leverage technology to stay organized and track moving pieces
- Strong “say do” ratio—complete tasks on agreed dates or communicate early if delays arise
- Ability to work autonomously, manage ambiguity, solve problems, and adapt to new processes in an evolving startup environment
- Ability to juggle many tasks and switch between them throughout the day
- Purpose-driven with a positive attitude to contribute to a strong culture and improve senior care

Salary: $140-155k with noted benefits above
Travel: 30-40% (higher in the first couple of months to learn)
