Responsibilities
The Valley Health System has expanded into an integrated health network that serves more than two million people in Southern Nevada. Accepts and directs all incoming calls to computerized PBX system. Ability to multitask in a high volume call center environment with speed and accuracy. Excellent verbal communication skills and a good listener, cooperative and enjoys working with others as part of a team.
QualificationsEducation: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience: Six months to one (1) year experience as an operator in a healthcare environment preferred.
Technical
Skills:
Computer proficiency, knowledge of working with switchboards, two‑way radios and alarm monitoring skills.
License/Certification: None
Other: Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide service appropriate to the age of the patient.
