We are seeking an accomplished and visionary leader to fill the position of Vice President of Pharmacy Services in Las Vegas. This pivotal role involves overseeing and advancing pharmaceutical services across multiple hospital pharmacy departments. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in driving cost containment strategies, ensuring regulatory compliance, and optimizing pharmacy business processes to enhance operational outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and elevate pharmacy clinical services, operations, compliance, and expense management to align with strategic goals.
- Foster and strengthen collaborative relationships with division and facility teams to enhance pharmacy practice and patient care.
- Analyze data from diverse sources to make informed strategic recommendations and implement initiatives for improving medication management quality and costs.
- Provide direct leadership to ensure the operational effectiveness of pharmacy services.
- Develop, implement, and coordinate systems and processes within the organization and facilities.
- Exhibit strong leadership and collaborative abilities within team and functional settings.
- Build and maintain robust relationships with stakeholders, including division and facility leadership, Supply Chain, Health Trust, and CSG.
- Enhance internal customer satisfaction and expectations through strategic alignment and engagement.
- Proactively address customer challenges and foster continuous improvement in service delivery by gathering customer feedback.
- B.S. in Pharmacy is required; advanced degrees such as Doctor of Pharmacy, MBA, or MS are preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of progressive pharmacy management experience, ideally in multi-site acute care settings (retail pharmacy experience is not applicable).
- Consideration for high-level roles such as Director, Chief Pharmacy Officer, Division/Market Director, or VP of Pharmacy.
- Must be a licensed pharmacist and willing to obtain licensure in the practicing state within six months or as mandated by the State Board of Pharmacy.
- Demonstrated executive-level leadership experience with the ability to forge strategic relationships with the executive team.
