OPEN JOB: DIRECTOR OF INFECTION PREVENTION
Location:
Las Vegas, Nevada
*** Relocation Assistance Available
Base Salary: $107,400 to $142,300
Employer:
Hospital is a leading 340 bed acute care facility in Las Vegas
- Directs the facility Infection Prevention (IP) and Control programs.
- Assesses regulatory compliance and ongoing IP readiness.
- Oversees clinical IP programs while promoting patient safety.
- Assesses reporting compliance with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), state and local reporting agencies, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) National Healthcare Safety Network (NHSN) standard surveillance definitions.
- Oversees IP surveillance and the collection, analysis and reporting of IP data.
- Master's in Nursing, Education, Epidemiology, Public Health, clinical Microbiology or other health related focus
- Three (3) to five (5) years clinical experience in health related field required.
- Two (2) years experience in Infection Prevention or epidemiology Leadership role required.
- Current national certification in Infection Control (CIC)
