Overview

Center Well Senior Primary Care is a trusted senior‑focused primary care provider in Las Vegas. The Medical Assistant 2 is the first point of contact for patient care. Responsibilities include administrative duties, clinical tasks, and collaboration with physicians and nurses. This role offers a competitive base pay range of $40,000 – $52,300 per year.

Responsibilities

Perform clinical duties such as discussing symptoms, gathering information into the electronic medical record system, taking vital signs, injecting, performing diagnostic tests, collecting specimens, drawing blood, sterilizing and cleaning equipment, and maintaining examination rooms at an outpatient care site.

Collaborate closely with physicians and nurses, deliver direct patient care, and interpret policies to complete assignments.

Qualifications
  • Required:

    Successful completion of an MA school/training program or a Certified/Registered Medical Assistant or 5+ years of experience and approval from Provider.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • CPR Certified.
  • Screened for tuberculosis (TB) as part of the company’s TB screening program.
Preferred
  • Certified or Registered – (Arizona, Indiana, & South Carolina candidates require Medical Assistant Certification or Registration).
  • Phlebotomy experience.
  • Medication/vaccine administration experience.
  • 1+ years MA experience.
  • Value based care experience including knowledge of HEDIS, CPT/ICD coding, and CAHPS/HOS Patient Experience.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish – must pass proficiency exam prior to foreign language communication.
