Under the direction of the Administrator for Program, the Intake Coordinator is responsible for outreach to ensure local agencies and key stakeholders (court system, probation, etc.) are aware of ARC (Adult Rehabilitation Center) participant requirements so eligible persons can receive services and reside in our program facility(ies). As a Program team member, he/she interviews and/or provides information to prospective program participants, completes paperwork for incoming residents, maintains files and referral/waiting lists, and participates in intra-agency/community meetings as needed to ensure house count remains at acceptable levels.
Minimum Requirements- BA in a Social Service field preferred
- Two (2) years of verifiable professional related experience required
- High School graduate or equivalent (GED) required
- Possession of a valid Driver’s License with acceptable driving record required
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, MSWord, Excel, and Access with ability to learn additional software as appropriate.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Professional judgment and integrity in holding in confidence all information pertaining to beneficiaries, families, and co-workers
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to work with diverse populations
