Base pay range
$16.45/hr - $19.66/hr
The Front Office Specialist schedules patient appointments, greets patients and visitors, answers and directs phone calls, checks patients in and out, verifies insurance eligibility and assists in general office duties.

- High School Diploma or equivalency.
- Minimum six months experience in customer service; preferably in healthcare.
- Current and valid driver’s license.
- Demonstrated ability to use a computer with Microsoft Office knowledge.
- Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding guidelines.
- Medical terminology.
- Knowledge of Medicare guidelines.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Must be well organized and detail‑oriented.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, team members, physicians and the public.
- Bilingual Spanish a plus.
- May include standing, sitting, and/or walking for extended periods.
- May include performing repetitive tasks.
- May include working with challenging patients.
- May include lifting up to 25 pounds.
