Light Street Special Education Solutions (http//), a division of LEARN Academy, provides comprehensive special education programs and services to schools. Our mission is to improve the quality and efficiency of services for children with special needs through evidence‑based practices and flexible solutions.

Light Street Special Education Solutions needs School‑Based Speech‑Language Pathologists to support the delivery of comprehensive special education services. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, implement evidence‑based interventions, and promote students’ communication skills.

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess students’ communication abilities/STUD capabilities (articulation, fluency, voice, expressive and receptive language).
• Develop and implement therapy intervention plans aligned with students’ համ IEP goals.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to integrate speech and language strategies into curriculum and provide consultative services.
• Contribute to the IEP process by providing progress insights and recommending interventions.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessments, interventions, and progress.
• Participate in team meetings and professional development activities to stay current with best practices.
• Provide expertise in assistive technology and communication strategies.
• Collaborate with the special education team to ensure alignment with the LRE principle.
• Mentor or supervise assistants or students in the therapy community.
• Provide trainings to instructional and related service staff.

• Master’s degree in speech‑language pathology from an accredited program.
• Pass the Praxis Examination in Speech‑Language Pathology.
• Maintain license per ASHA requirements.
• Current Nevada licensure (or willingness to obtain).
• Current Nevada DOE certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Current negative TB test (within last 4 years) or willingness to obtain.
