Introduction
The Clinical Pharmacist plays a critical role in optimizing medication therapy management for hospitalized patients through clinical expertise and collaboration with the healthcare team. This position ensures accurate, evidence-based medication use by verifying and interpreting medication orders, documenting interventions in patient records, and clarifying medication orders when necessary. The pharmacist actively monitors for drug interactions, contraindications, and therapeutic duplications, providing timely recommendations to prescribers to enhance patient outcomes.

- B.S. or Pharm
D from an ACPE‑accredited School of Pharmacy, a Doctor of Pharmacy from an ACPE‑accredited college of pharmacy is preferred - State of Nevada Pharmacist Licensure (within 6 months of hire)
- Minimum of 3 years of hospital clinical pharmacy experience or at least 5 years of general hospital pharmacy experience required; preferably within area of focus OR
- Completion of an ASHP accredited pharmacy practice residency or fellowship
