• Perform CT procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision.
• Obtain patient history, explain standard procedures and address patient concerns.
• Produce computerized tomographic scanner radiographs of specific areas as required by departmental procedures.
• Perform duties directly involved with a variety of technical procedures applying ionizing radiation for detecting pathology.
• Regulate the equipment used to expose the x‑ray film, develop and document PACS imaging.
• Operate equipment safely and maintain Simon Med standards while performing call‑type procedures.
• Establish and maintain a good rapport and professional relationship with fellow employees, other departments, and facility staff.
• Familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedures.
• Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
• Works under general supervision.

• Registration as a Certified Radiologic and Computerized Tomography Technologist by the State.
• Registration as an RT and CT Technologist by the A.R.R.T.
• Valid hands‑on CPR certification.

This position may require lifting and carrying up to 40 lbs, sitting for prolonged periods, frequent standing and walking.

Business casual or scrubs, depending on department.
