Job Summary
We are seeking a Registered Behavior Technician to join our Genesis team! In this role, an RBT will be assisting BCBA in implementing behavior reduction and skill acquisition treatment plans to support our clients and their families.
The RBT must possess an understanding of autism and how to treat the deficits and behaviors using applied behavior analysis (ABA) standards and practices.
Responsibilities
Implement behavioral plans designed by BCBA
Involves one on one or group Applied Behavioral Analysis therapy
Record data that allows the monitoring of progress and effectiveness of the treatment plan
Support BCBA with training families on implementing individualized treatment plans
Be responsive to the needs and requests of clients, their families, and supervisors
Maintain communication with families, supervisors, and other applicable parties
Any other tasks outlined by BCBA
Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of patient information and treatment plan
Adhere to all facility and licensing standards
Qualifications
Completion of RBT credentials
Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent
Flexible work schedule to provide full and part-time schedules as necessary
Experience working with children with ASD, preferred
Excellent project management skills
Ability to work with confidential information
Experience working with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Ability to effectively manage multiple high-priority tasks while working in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication, problem-solving and organizational skills required
Previous experience as an Registered Behavior Technician preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Highly organized
