The role can begin in a financial center and may transition to a phone-based capacity before a final location is determined based on business needs and commuting distance.
As a Financial Solutions Advisor Stage I (FSA I), you will start by obtaining Securities Industry licenses with dedicated classes for SIE, Series 7, and Series 66 exams. You will learn foundational advisory skills, including acquiring, building and managing client relationships, assessing a client’s financial picture, and guiding them with advice and solutions to help clients live their best financial lives, while humanizing financial interactions.
After achieving key milestones, you will begin working in a financial center to deliver Bank of America’s core banking, investment solutions, and client care, with continued development through the stages.
- Obtain required securities licenses (SIE, Series 7, Series 66) through structured lessons and dedicated study time; SIE within 30 days of hire and Series 7/66 within 120 days.
- Acquire, build, and manage client relationships; assess client needs and provide appropriate solutions.
- Deliver end-to-end comprehensive advice, client reviews/presentations, and recommended strategies to help clients achieve financial goals and life priorities.
- Collaborate with core banking and investment partners to connect clients with Bank of America and Merrill solutions to meet financial needs.
- Progress through the Financial Solutions Advisor track from Stage I to Stage II, with ongoing development through The Academy’s programs and resources.
- Interact with diverse client segments at a financial center and as the role evolves, potentially expand to additional channels or locations as needed.
- Aptitude in obtaining required industry licenses.
- Self-discipline in time and capacity management.
- Experience in cultivating client relationships, understanding needs, and recommending solutions.
- Ability to build strong peer relationships through effective communication and collaboration.
- Results-driven mindset with the ability to prioritize clients’ interests in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to execute multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technology or applications.
- Currently holds FINRA SIE certification.
- Bachelor’s degree and/or at least one year of financial services industry or sales experience.
- Spanish speaking is a plus.

This position is open for the entire market. The specific Financial Center location will be based on business needs. If offered a position, you will train at one financial center and may begin in a phone-based capacity until a final location is determined, within a reasonable commuting distance of your home and in compliance with applicable law.

Pay range: $28.85 - $33.65 hourly. Offers determined based on experience, education, and skill set. This role is compensated with a base salary and is not incentive eligible.
