Senior Accountant

We are seeking a seasoned accounting professional to join a dynamic team supporting multiple entities with complex financial and tax needs. This role offers exposure to investment reporting, tax compliance, and financial analysis across diverse structures such as trusts, partnerships, and corporations. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Oversee and maintain accurate financial records for various entities, including preparation of journal entries and reconciliations.
• Generate and analyze financial statements, budgets, and cash flow projections to support strategic decision-making.
• Coordinate investment activity reporting and ensure compliance with internal and external requirements.
• Assist with audits, property valuations, and annual financial reviews.
• Compile and review tax-related data for outsourced preparers, including estimated payments and GAAP tax provisions.
• Research and resolve tax inquiries, notices, and assist with planning initiatives.
• Support special projects related to accounting, taxation, and investment oversight as needed.

• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounting and tax functions, ideally with exposure to multiple entity types.
• Background in public accounting or similar environment handling diverse clients is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with investment accounting and portfolio reporting (stocks, bonds, alternative assets) is a plus.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong command of other Office applications.
• Exceptional organizational skills, analytical ability, and commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team setting.
