The JobAt MGM Resorts International, we’re reimagining what hospitality finance can be. As a Finance Consultant, you’ll sit at the intersection of strategy, analytics, and executive decision-making—partnering closely with Finance leadership, Property teams, and Corporate FP&A to deliver insights that directly impact performance. This role reports to the Director of Financial Planning & Analysis and plays a critical role in supporting the CFO through high-impact analysis, budgeting, and forward-looking financial strategy.
The Day-to-day- Partner with business leaders to understand financial challenges and analytical needs
- Support the Director of Financial Planning & Analysis in identifying and executing analysis opportunities
- Participate in planning and budgeting activities in partnership with Corporate Finance
- Manage cash flow, cost identification and allocation, and risk management activities
- Collaborate on data and analytics innovation initiatives
- Partner with Enterprise Analytics to support Property teams in action planning, progress tracking, and goal achievement
- Review findings and provide recommendations to senior leadership
- Develop and maintain working knowledge of the business across functional areas
- Lead and develop others, including coaching, feedback, and performance management
- Support hiring, training, succession planning, and the fostering of a positive work environment
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 5+ years of prior relevant experience
- Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Experience with BI tools and financial modeling
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills, including executive summaries
- Ability to manage confidential information with discretion
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Strategic, business-minded approach with the ability to translate complex data into executive-level insights
- Experience influencing and partnering across cross-functional teams
- Background in hospitality operations or resort environments preferred
- Experience supporting or leading change management initiatives preferred
