As the VP of Corporate Tax, you'll oversee all aspects of corporate tax strategy, compliance, and planning including federal and multi-state income tax, ASC 740 provisions, and M&A due diligence. You'll mentor and develop a small but capable team, helping them grow into high-performing leaders. Collaboration is key: you'll work closely with Finance, IT, Treasury, and Operations, and present regularly to executive leadership (and occasionally the Board).
A major focus will be driving innovation across the tax function, including modernizing systems, enhancing processes, and implementing strategic technology solutions like a new provision platform. This is a hands-on leadership role in a respectful, people-first culture.
We are a company committed to creating inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day. We are an equal opportunity employer that believes everyone matters. Qualified candidates will receive consideration for employment opportunities without regard to race, religion, sex, age, marital status, national origin, sexual orientation, citizenship status, disability, or any other status or characteristic protected by applicable laws, regulations, and ordinances.

- Proven experience in transactional tax work, including M&A due diligence
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of developing and mentoring tax teams
- Strategic mindset with the ability to drive initiatives independently and influence at the executive level
- Experience with international tax, particularly Canadian operations
- Hands-on involvement in a tax technology implementation
- Broad exposure to cross-functional projects involving IT, Treasury, and Operations
