We are searching for a Commercial Lending Assistant to provide onsite support for a financial institution in Las Vegas, NV. This position pays $21 to $24 per hour, depending on experience.
Responsibilities- Compile pre-documentation packages and perform verification of authorized signers, entity status, insurance, title reports, and entity documents.
- Perform pre-documentation due diligence including OFAC, BSA, CIP, UCC pre-searches, and flood hazard determinations.
- Coordinate the loan closing process with credit analysts, title companies, third parties, and clients.
- Prepare and coordinate title instructions for real estate-secured loans.
- Maintain loan tickler reports and assist with follow-up communications for covenant, financial, and tax documentation.
- Upload borrower and guarantor financial documentation and generate tickler correspondence.
- Ensure accuracy of all loan coding including product, purpose, NAICS, HMDA, CRA, and collateral codes.
- Support credit analysts with post-closing client inquiries and issue resolution.
- Prepare reports and assist with audits, management requests, and special projects.
- Provide general administrative and operational support to the lending department as needed.
- Associate degree or equivalent education in a finance, business, or related field; bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of two years of experience in commercial banking, lending operations, or a related financial services role.
- Working knowledge of banking operations, lending products, and applicable state and federal regulations.
- Strong organizational, time management, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Proficiency with loan documentation, imaging systems, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to analyze information, manage multiple priorities, and resolve non-standard issues.
- Intermediate mathematical and analytical skills relevant to lending activities.
- Authorization to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship, now or in the future.
