Summary
At the assigned levels, generates quality casino business certainly meets monthly sign‑up goals, assists all guests, attracts and develops players, and ensures that their budgeted revenue and non‑revenue goals are met. Ensures compliance with company, departmental, and gaming policies and regulations.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities- Devotes significant time being visible and available on the casino floor to meet and greet guests during individual visits as well as during special events.
- Supports the True Rewards Players Club by creating new accounts and cards on the floor wherever guests may be located via handheld devices or temporary cards.
- Makes appropriate business decisions based on the limited complementary authority within the Casino Host position, using recorded play, earned points, comp availability, and customer profitability.
- Actively develops and maintains guest loyalty and incremental visitation through personal contact such as on‑property hosting, telemarketing, direct mail, and email using available amenities and promotional opportunities.
- Ensures the highest possible standards of guest service are provided and listens to and responds to guest concerns and questions.
- Initiates and implements strategies as directed by Player Development management to develop new players and increase return visits for mid‑level casino guests to increase profits.
- Supports VIP Sakura services by making room reservations, arranging for amenities, and limo arrangements as necessary for casino guests; complete all necessary paperwork (e.g., comp slips, reservation request forms, etc.). Greet guests upon arrival whenever possible.
- Proactively reestablishes relationship with former VIP guests through various marketing programs.
- Maintains current knowledge of all events, promotions, and special functions.
- Develops and maintains an active player list within criteria guidelines established for casino hosts.
- Ensures compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Minimum 2 years customer service background.
- Minimum 2 years casino experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Previous experience with Synkros and LMS preferred.
- Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree or other secondaryნი certification in a related field preferred.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
