Innova Technologies is seeking an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join our structural engineering team in Las Vegas, Nevada.

This role is ideal for a licensed Professional Engineer who wants to lead structural design efforts, mentor engineers, and take technical ownership of projects from concept through construction. You will play a key role in delivering technically challenging structural projects while contributing to the continued growth and technical excellence of our structural engineering practice.

Based in Las Vegas, our team supports projects across the United States and internationally, offering exposure to diverse project types and engineering challenges whilebenefitingfrom Nevada’s no-state-income-tax advantage and the region’s rapidly growing construction market.

The Opportunity

As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will take a leadership role in the design and delivery of structural engineering projects across sectors including commercial, hospitality, industrial, mixed-use, and specialty structures.

You will collaborate closely with project managers, architects, contractors, and consultants to deliver technically sound and efficient structural solutions while mentoring engineers and contributing to the continued development of the structural team.

This role offers the opportunity to:

  • Lead structural engineering projects from concept through construction
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers and designers
  • Contribute to structural system selection and design optimization
  • Represent the firm in technical discussions with clients and project partners
  • Help maintain and elevate the technical excellence of our structural practice
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead structural analysis and design for steel, reinforced concrete, masonry, and wood structural systems
  • Oversee structural engineering efforts throughout the entire project lifecycle, from concept design through construction
  • Review structural calculations, drawings, and technical deliverables to ensure quality and code compliance
  • Coordinate with architects, contractors, and multidisciplinary consultants to support efficient project delivery
  • Mentor engineers and designers, providing technical guidance and design oversight
  • Conduct site visits and support construction administration activities including RFIs and submittal review
  • Support client relationships and participate in technical meetings and project coordination
Compensation

Salary Range: $115,000 – $150,000 annually
(Compensationcommensuratewith experience)

Qualifications Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master’s degree preferred)
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required
  • Structural Engineer (SE) license is a plus
  • Minimum 10+ years of structural engineering experience
  • Experience leading structural design and coordinating multidisciplinary project teams
Technical Expertise
  • Strong knowledge of IBC, ASCE, ACI, AISC, and related structural design standards
  • Experience designing steel, reinforced concrete, masonry, and wood structures
  • Proficiency with structural analysis software such as RISA-3D, RAM, ETABS, SAP
    2000, or similar platforms
  • Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, and structural modeling tools
  • Familiarity with construction administration, RFIs, submittal review, and field observations
Leadership & Communication
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor engineers and support team development
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with attention to detail
