We’re hiring a Chemical Process Specialist for a fast-growing manufacturer supporting the clean energy and advanced materials industries.
In this role, you’ll lead technical efforts for an integrated chemical process unit, working across operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to troubleshoot issues, optimize performance, and support turnarounds and capital projects.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as technical lead for chemical processing systems involving electrolytic cells, brine prep, and corrosive or hazardous chemical handling
- Troubleshoot production issues and drive improvements in uptime, energy use, and yield
- Analyze process data and implement performance enhancements
- Support scope development for maintenance outages and capital improvements
- Mentor frontline operators and junior technical staff
- Maintain SOPs and ensure safety and regulatory compliance
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in continuous chemical operations, preferably with exposure to electrolytic or chlor-alkali systems. A high school diploma is required; a BS in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field is preferred. Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills are key.
