What You’ll Be Doing

As an AV Cable Technician
, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining and ensuring the quality of our broadcast tactical fiber and AV cable inventory—helping LMG uphold the highest technical standards in the industry.

  • ✅ Test and clean AV and fiber cables to meet LMG and industry standards
  • ✅ Inspect connectors to ensure they are secure, clean, and fully functional
  • ✅ Verify calibration and performance of test equipment; coordinate manufacturer returns when needed
  • ✅ Perform minor cable repairs and maintenance
  • ✅ Replace missing or damaged connector caps and ensure fiber ends are protected
  • ✅ Maintain organization, labeling, and proper wrapping of cable inventory
  • ✅ Conduct cycle counts of connector caps and cleaning materials to maintain stock levels
  • ✅ Assist with general warehouse operations and cleanliness, including supporting visitors and maintaining proper storage of rental product
What We’re Looking For

    Education & Experience – High School Diploma required; knowledge of AV equipment and wiring/cable experience preferred
  • 🔹
    Technical Skills – Understanding of AV systems or fiber preferred; training provided

    Attention to Detail – Strong commitment to quality and accuracy

    Time Management – Ability to prioritize multiple tasks efficiently

    Adaptability – Comfortable in a hands‑on, warehouse‑style work environment
