.

What You’ll Be DoingAs an AV Cable Technician
, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining and ensuring the quality of our broadcast tactical fiber and AV cable inventory—helping LMG uphold the highest technical standards in the industry.
- ✅ Test and clean AV and fiber cables to meet LMG and industry standards
- ✅ Inspect connectors to ensure they are secure, clean, and fully functional
- ✅ Verify calibration and performance of test equipment; coordinate manufacturer returns when needed
- ✅ Perform minor cable repairs and maintenance
- ✅ Replace missing or damaged connector caps and ensure fiber ends are protected
- ✅ Maintain organization, labeling, and proper wrapping of cable inventory
- ✅ Conduct cycle counts of connector caps and cleaning materials to maintain stock levels
- ✅ Assist with general warehouse operations and cleanliness, including supporting visitors and maintaining proper storage of rental product

Education & Experience – High School Diploma required; knowledge of AV equipment and wiring/cable experience preferred - 🔹
Technical Skills – Understanding of AV systems or fiber preferred; training provided - 🔹
Attention to Detail – Strong commitment to quality and accuracy - 🔹
Time Management – Ability to prioritize multiple tasks efficiently - 🔹
