Structural Engineer

The Associate Structural Engineer will oversee structural projects under the guidance of a Principal, taking projects from initial feasibility and concept development through final construction and closeout.

• Develop structural concepts, perform feasibility analyses, and establish the basis of design
• Execute structural analysis and design for steel, concrete, foundations, and lateral systems
• Lead preparation of design development packages, construction documents, and construction administration activities
• Coordinate closely with architects, consultants, BIM teams, and contractors
• Review shop drawings, respond to RFIs, evaluate substitutions, and provide field support
• Mentor junior engineers and uphold internal quality control standards
• Assist with proposals, fee development, and business development initiatives

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master’s degree preferred)
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred but not a must have;
  Structural Engineer (SE) license a plus
• Minimum of 3 years of structural building design experience
• Demonstrated experience leading moderate to large-scale projects
• Strong background in high-rise and seismic design preferred
• Proficiency with IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, and AISC codes and standards
• Experience with ETABS, SAP, STRUDL, STAAD, SAFE/RAM, RISA, ADAPT, and SP Column/Beam
• Working knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, MathCAD, and Microsoft Office
