Senior Estimator

Wolverine Fire Protection is looking for a Senior Estimator who will be responsible for overseeing fire protection estimation and ensuring the successful profitability of projects.

• Review blueprints, specs, and addenda to prepare detailed material takeoffs, labor, and equipment cost calculations for large‑scale projects.
• Ensure all designs and estimates adhere to NFPA standards and local building codes.
• Solicit and analyze subcontractor and vendor pricing to secure competitive bids.
• Analyze, value‑engineer, and strategize margins to ensure profitability, often for complex projects.
• Work with engineering, project management, and sales teams to align on scope and facilitate project handoff.
• Provide guidance to junior estimators, review their work, and maintain accurate, organized documentation.
• Deep understanding of NFPA standards (e.g., NFPA 13, 14, 20) and fire protection system design.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to interpret construction documents.
• Strong negotiation skills to interact with contractors and clients.
• Self‑driven with superior follow‑through skills and timely response to request for information.

• 5 years proven experience in fire sprinkler or fire protection system estimation.
• High Scholl or GED.
• Background in field installation or design is highly valued.
• Valid driver’s license and the ability to maintain it.

• 5 days a week in Las Vegas, NV or job site as applicable.
