Overview
Primary resource for producing and maintaining engineering design drawings. Supports engineering staff, maintains CAD standards, reviews design packages, and provides technical support to construction and maintenance teams. Leads projects as assigned.
Responsibilities- Prepare discipline-specific engineering drawings.
- Review consultant design submittals for AutoCAD QA/QC compliance.
- Maintain and update AutoCAD standards, compatible units, and documentation.
- Coordinate issuance of design packages to construction teams.
- Analyze customer requests for compliance with local and national codes.
- Train staff on new and revised AutoCAD tools.
- Support project close-outs, including record drawings and mapping updates.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, codes, and regulations.
- Substation Design Suite, AutoCAD Electrical, and Inventor
- Knowledge of drafting practices and construction/design standards
- Strong organizational and communication skills
