We are seeking a Track Engineer for a full-time, hybrid position based in Las Vegas, NV to contribute to the Brightline West project, the first P3 high-speed rail in the United States.

• Contribute to the design of high-speed rail track systems (+300 km/h, +186 mph), from preliminary engineering through construction delivery, including track components design.
• Develop track component specifications and interface requirements with civil works, rail systems, and rolling stock.
• Coordinate with suppliers of track components and materials.
• Oversee track construction logistics, staging, and quality control.
• Ensure compliance with European rail standards (EN, TSI) and relevant US standards (AREMA, AASHTO, ASTM).
• Prepare and review technical reports, design drawings, and construction documentation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (civil, structures, rail systems, operations) to ensure seamless project integration.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in rail track design. Experience in High Speed Rail (+300 km/h, +186 mph) and Amtrak/Class I Railroads is a plus.
• Strong technical writing, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience developing track components specifications, managing suppliers and designing track construction logistics.
• Understanding of technical feasibility, risk analysis, and mitigation strategies.
• Experience with relevant software, such as Office, CAD and BIM tools.
• Knowledge of Rail European Standards and US standards (AREMA, AASHTO, ASTM) and rail market.
• CA and/or NV PE license preferred (or ability to obtain in the near term).
