CLP Engineering (CLPE) is a full-service electric utility solutions engineering firm with over twenty years of experience in electrical utility system ownership, upgrades, maintenance, and operations. CLPE serves investor‐owned, municipal, cooperative, government, industrial, and commercial customers through its sister company, City Light & Power.
Responsibilities- Plan and define program goals, devising methods to achieve them in alignment with the client’s mission, policies, and technical procedures.
- Develop budgets, schedules, and construction service plans in collaboration with department managers, project engineers, and discipline leads.
- Review design documents for conformance to company standards and scope of work compliance.
- Generate and distribute reports on all project phases and financial performance.
- Travel to the project site to monitor activities throughout the project lifecycle.
- Lead project meetings including pre‑award, pre‑construction, project progress, and final close‑out.
- Develop, enhance, and maintain effective client relations.
- Coordinate with the Site Superintendent to develop and maintain site logistics plans and personnel assignments.
- Oversee procurement process, cost control, and change management systems.
- Perform field inspections to verify quality and accuracy of construction.
- Set‑up QA/QC procedures and conduct quality inspections.
- Uphold core safety values and collaborate with the EH&S Director to communicate and enforce safety standards.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, or related field preferred; prior related work experience may substitute.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
- 5–10 years of experience managing medium to large federal projects.
- Experience with blueprints, specifications, and proposals to coordinate time, cost, and labor estimates.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
- Ability to delegate work appropriately.
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
- Strong oral and written communication skills required.
- Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality at all times.

Travel between jobsites 20–30% outside CO.
Other Requirements- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Required to obtain Military Base Access Security Clearance.
- Valid driver's license required.
Salary range: $100,000–$120,000 annually based on experience, plus eligibility to participate in Short Term Incentive Plan. We offer an excellent benefits package that includes medical, dental, life insurance, 401(k) with company contribution, paid time off, and paid holidays.
