Senior Civil Engineer | Las Vegas, NV

IMEG is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join our Civil team in Las Vegas, or Southern, California (Ontario, Anaheim and Pasadena) office
. In this role, you will lead design efforts for moderate to complex municipal infrastructure and site development projects, providing technical direction and oversight to a team of engineers. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, deliver innovative engineering solutions, and ensure projects meet client expectations and IMEG's high standards. • Lead design efforts for the analysis and implementation of municipal infrastructure and site plans

• Perform site assessments and generate detailed analysis and technical reports

• Utilize engineering software and tools to create detailed designs, specifications, and calculations according to code requirements and IMEG standards

• Interact with clients to gather project requirements, communicate technical information, and build strong client relationships

• Provide in-process design reviews and implement IMEG quality control processes to ensure compliance with industry and client standards

• Provide technical training, mentoring, and assistance in resolving field issues with minimal support from senior staff

• Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in civil engineering; contribute to research and innovation efforts

• Prioritize safety and regulatory compliance in all engineering work, interpreting and applying state and local design criteria

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated project solutions

• Participate in project interviews and presentations

• Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree in Civil Engineering, or equivalent, required

• Professional Engineer (PE) License required

• 10 years of experience minimum required, 12 preferred, in the building design consulting industry

• Mastery of design techniques, tools, and concepts involved in the production of technical plans and specifications

• Mastery of technical and analytical skills including proficiency in the Civil Engineering field

• Strong training, mentoring and leadership skills

• Ability to perform final quality control check in their area of expertise

• Ability to sell work and develop client relationships

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to clearly communicate in both oral and written communication to individuals or groups

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

• Attention to detail and problem‑solving skills

• Eagerness to adapt to new challenges

• Proficient with MS Office Suite including but not limited to Word, Excel, and Outlook

• Ability to travel up to 20% with occasional overnight stays. This position is not eligible for sponsorship.
