Power System Engineer
Nucor Steel Kingman, Kingman, AZ.
Responsibilities & QualificationsCandidate must have a Bachelors degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering & 2 years of experience in a power role with experience in power distribution, transformers, & electrical codes/standards.
- Utilizing AutoCAD to create detailed drawings, schematics, & blueprints for electrical systems & other equipment.
- Simulation: ETAP, SEL (AcSELerator) to configure, commission, & manage devices.
- Perform load flow, short circuit studies including relay coordination, arcflash analysis, transient analysis, & harmonic analysis.
- Perform programming microprocessor relays designed for power system protection & control, using microprocessors to analyze data & make decisions.
